Here's To New Partnerships

We are excited to announce and introduce to everyone our new grazing tenant on the Mallet Ranch, Matt Patterson, effective June 1st of this year. He and his wife ReBeka are the owners of the Patterson Ranch, which neighbors the Mallet Ranch on the west side. The Patterson Ranch was formerly the Boyd Ranch. Matt and ReBeka are parents of two boys, Caleb and Eli, with the family having generational roots in farming and ranching in the area. Matt is a high school graduate of Whiteface, Texas, and obtained his Agricultural Economics degree from Texas Tech University in 2006. Beka, grew up in Levelland, Texas and received her R.N. degree from South Plains College.

The Pattersons are excited for the opportunity to be the new grazing tenant on the Mallet Ranch, and to be good stewards of the resources that the ranch has always offered. The Pattersons are actively involved at the First Baptist Church in Whiteface, with Matt also serving on the Cochran County Water Conservation Board. Beka is also actively involved in the community, including serving as Executive Director of the Cochran Foundation.
